About Us.
Open Mind Psychology Clinic was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to understand themselves.
We believe mental health care should be human, personalised, and accessible. At Open Mind, we look beyond labels and diagnoses—we see individuals with their own stories, strengths, struggles, and potential.
This space is for those feeling anxious, low, confused, or emotionally overwhelmed, as well as for those who may seem “fine” but wish to know themselves more deeply. It is also for those who may not have the words for what they’re experiencing, only a sense that something doesn’t feel right.
In short, therapy is for everyone.
And so is Open Mind.

I am Shefali Arora Anand, an RCI-Registered Clinical Psychologist and a Silver Medalist in M.Phil. Clinical Psychology. I am the founder of Open Mind Psychology Clinic, and my core belief is that therapy can be a space to pause, reflect, and find clarity. I have been working with all age groups across a range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.
As an Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association (APA), I actively engage in research and continuous learning to refine my clinical skills and stay aligned with evidence-based practices. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and individualized, drawing from what works best for each person. This may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, psychodynamic principles, and humanistic approaches, depending on the client’s needs, goals, and pace. Sessions are collaborative, structured, and aimed at building insight, emotional balance, and practical coping skills.
The focus is on creating a safe, respectful space where concerns can be explored openly and change feels achievable and sustainable.

How Does this Process Work?

Pick a time that suits you, whether you prefer to meet online or in person.
Your first session is a relaxed, judgement-free space to share what’s been on your mind and what you’re looking for. Together, we’ll understand your concerns and see if an assessment would be helpful.
We work with you to build a personalised plan based on your needs and goals. This may include therapy, assessments, or skill building—designed to support you in a way that feels right for you.

FAQ'S
What if I can't come to the clinic?
We offer both virtual and in-person therapy sessions, so if you can't come to the clinic for any reason, you have the option to continue your therapy through virtual sessions. Please discuss your preferences with your therapist to determine the most suitable approach.
Therapy isn’t only for difficult moments. If something feels off, overwhelming, or you simply want to understand yourself better, it can be a meaningful place to start.
Your first session is a space to talk freely about what’s been on your mind. We’ll explore your concerns, understand your needs, and gently discuss what kind of support might work best for you.
Do I need to have everything figured out before I start?
Not at all. You don’t need the “right words” or a clear reason—just a willingness to begin. We’ll help you make sense of things together.
Is what I share kept confidential?
Yes, your privacy is respected at all times. Confidentiality is a core part of our work, with rare exceptions only when safety is at risk.
No. We offer a space that is open, respectful, and free from judgement—where you can show up exactly as you are.
